I wasn't into Loewe but when they channeled
my military instinct, I quickly surrendered

Paris High 3

Louis Vuitton didn't surprise me after seeing the Marc Jacobs Collection. Nonetheless, I still love the green plume dress hence the font color. What is it with feathers and fringes that I'm so in love with them now. The accessories were quite interesting but it didn't get me that excited.

I've always love Stella McCartney's tailoring, silhouette and her color preference. It's always effortless chic and easy. Love the deep oversize lapels of the slouchy jackets and jumpsuits. Understated yet very cool and sexy.

Paris High 2

not so crazy about Givenchy this season, no?

change of print and hue from Dries Van Noten
made my heartbeat stop.
The white button down shirt tucked in a long
golden skirt was just fabulous.

Love the soft, romantic side of Anne Demeulemeester.

Paris High

My anticipation for the Paris Spring Summer '09 collection took over my brain and body quickly & completely after my stressful month at work like typhoon 9 Hagupit to Hong Kong (thank God! no work so I could rest for a day) which is a really really good thing. It felt like I was having heart burns when I saw Martin Margiela's and short breaths when I viewed Yohji Yamamoto. Numbness for Nina Ricci and then it was heart attack because of Balmain. Now I just have to wait for Balenciaga, Givenchy, Dries Van Noten and Lanvin to give me an overdose of morphine.

Here are my favorites from Balmain. Those crystal stiletto strapy shoes reminded me of Steve Madden's Banglez Gladiator Sandals first seen on Kate Moss feet. Here is the couture version made with crystals not studs. Seems like Decarnin is taking it from the streets. Last season's minnentonka fringe booties look alike now this. Just add the 5 inch heels and viola! Did I mention I love high high heels? So I'm totally high on Balmain right now.

The King & Marc Jacobs

The collection reminded me of King & I. Maybe Marc Jacobs stayed too long in Bali or Bangkok and took all the brocade fabric back home, no? But i like it, it's rich, electric and romantic. Here are my picks.

Back to School

If I was still in school, I would definitely look like this. I like Boy by Band of Outsiders' interpretation of preppy. Well it's not too late for me. I can still pull this off. What do you think?

Alexander Wang - Erin Wasson

I felt a bit sad when I learned about the break up err... but they had to move on. Erin's busy with her own clothing line for RVCA and her jewelry line too so maybe that's the reason why she didn't style his show (just speculating). But our dear Alexander did not fail us with his spring 09 collection. It was yummy and yes they are still best of friends. I'm just so green like hulk green with envy that our fabulous blogger Rumi was in NY to see his and her show. She was in our muse Erin Wasson's house too hangin out with all the coolness. Lucky girl!
